The annual St. Patrick’s Day has been referred as Scranton’s version of Mardi Gras. The parade begins at 11:45am from Wyoming Ave. Over 5,000 participants are featured, as well as musical performances, numerous floats and costumed marchers.

Every November, the Greater Scranton Jaycees Santa Parade takes place in downtown Scranton. The parade features a Holiday breakfast, floats and a costume procession through the streets. A special photograph session with Santa is available. The parade will be broadcast live on WNEP TV 16.
